Rusty's passion for weather led him to the heart of tornado alley, where he has won multiple awards for severe weather coverage. A native Floridian, Rusty has worked in both the Southeast and Northeast, forecasting hurricanes and blizzards alike. Rusty is a member of the American Meteorological Society and has 15 years of on-air experience.
